Professional Background
Upon graduating from New England Law, Chloe Bowerman began her professional legal career back in Buffalo, NY, as an Immigration Attorney at Prisoners’ Legal Services of New York, and later transitioned to a Senior Immigration Attorney role with Moaddel Law Firm, APC, in Los Angeles, CA. In these capacities, she represented and advocated for non-citizens in all of their necessary immigration proceedings before Immigration Court, USCIS, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the United States Second Circuit, and specialized in the intersectionality of immigration and criminal law. Chloe obtained immigration status and prevented unwarranted deportation for numerous clients, and successfully argued several cases before the Board of Immigration Appeals. Currently, her work at the J. Morgan Levy Firm focuses on civil rights litigation and small business contract work. Her cases range from representing victims of discrimination and police brutality to assisting small businesses with their formation and contract negotiations. Chloe is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the NYSBA’s Women in Law and Criminal Justice Sections, and the Western District of New York’s Pro Bono Volunteer Panel.
