Professional Background

After graduating from Northeastern University School of Law, Laurel worked at the National Labor Relations Board in Washington, D.C., first as a Board-side honors attorney and then as an attorney advisor to a Board member. She researched and prepared memos recommending how the NLRB should resolve cases involving unfair labor practice charges and appeals from representation elections. She also drafted NLRB decisions. Laurel then worked at Greater Boston Legal Services providing civil legal assistance to victims of crime, representing clients in a variety of practice areas, including wage and hour, employment discrimination, divorce, abuse prevention orders, and immigration. Laurel was vice president of the Attorneys’ Union at GBLS and a member of the bargaining committee. Since 2022, Laurel has been an associate attorney at Sandulli Grace, P.C., where she provides comprehensive representation for unions and their members, which includes contract enforcement, disciplinary proceedings, and bargaining.
