Professional Background

Nicole Paquin is the Attorney/Principal at the Law Office of Nicole Paquin. Paquin represents individuals in immigration matters as well as appeals to the Massachusetts Appeals Courts, and provides mediation services. Paquin has prioritized providing pro bono services, and has been recognized in the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court's Pro Bono Honor Roll. Prior to forming her own practice, Paquin litigated plaintiffs' medical malpractice claims and insurance defense matters in the Superior Courts and Federal District Courts of Massachusetts and New Hampshire for more than a decade.

Paquin has a strong belief that the practice of law benefits from diverse opinions, and attorneys flourish when they are recognized, represented, and respected. As a result, Paquin founded and co-chaired the Women's Initiative at Boyle Shaughnessy Law, where she was a Shareholder before forming her own practice. This experience led her to join the Diversity Task Force (now the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee) of the Massachusetts Bar Association, where she is proud to work alongside a group of individuals committed to DEI. Paquin is passionate about diversity and allyship, and welcomes conversations about this important topic.
