Amiee Parco is a Staff Attorney in the Family Law Unit at GBLS, where she represents survivors of domestic violence in divorce, custody, and abuse prevention order proceedings. Attorney Parco co-leads a special project at GBLS called the Relocation Project, which helps litigants navigate multi-jurisdictional challenges for survivors. Before joining GBLS, she advocated for survivors of domestic violence as a Senior Staff Attorney at Casa Myrna a domestic violence agency in Dorchester, Ma and supervised the legal intern program.
In addition to her direct legal practice, Attorney Parco has been actively involved in policy advocacy to improve legal protections for survivors, including testifying in support of legislation to recognize coercive control as a form of abuse under Massachusetts law. Amiee recently participated in the Boston Bar Association’s Public Interest Leadership Program (PILP), a highly selective, year-long program designed to provide intensive leadership and professional development training. Through this program, Amiee connected with leaders across Boston’s public and private sectors and gained the critical skills and tools needed to grow as an effective leader and voice in the community.
