Before joining the Office of Chief Counsel in July of 2023, Rosie was the Section Chief at the Boston Asylum Office, where she oversaw various dockets and supervised a team of supervisory asylum officers on behalf of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, the government agency that administers lawful immigration to the United States. She joined the Boston Asylum Office as an Asylum Officer in May 2017, became a Supervisory Asylum Officer in 2019, and started in her role as Section Chief in November of 2021. Prior to joining the federal government, Rosie was an attorney in private practice in Boston for 10 years, specializing in immigration and probate law.
