Melinda O’Neil Hall is assistant general counsel for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice in the Litigation Support Division. She assists the Attorney General’s Office in obtaining records and affidavits in preparation for motions to dismiss and motions for summary judgment. Her duties also include assisting in court-ordered mediation and preparing Department of Criminal Justice employees and witnesses for depositions and trial.
Previously, she served as an assistant district attorney in Grayson, Kaufman, and Caldwell counties. She also served as Caldwell County’s chief juvenile prosecutor.
While at New England Law | Boston, she was involved in the Journal on Criminal and Civil Confinement.
