The law school faculty includes distinguished scholars and practitioners who are dedicated to teaching and engaging students. Our clinical law programs constitute a leading model in the integration of legal study and clinical experience. Law school clinical programs ensure that students are well prepared to make the most of their opportunities in the field.

Our Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree program offers students the opportunity to excel in specialized law clinics and learn through hands-on simulations in variety of formats.

In the law school's J.D. degree program, students take about half of their courses in electives, with a core of required courses comprising the other half of the total credits needed for graduation. Students begin taking electives during the second year of study, and many choose to begin taking clinical courses as soon as their third semester. With four full-time or part-time study options to choose from, juris doctorate candidates can pick the program that best fits their individual needs.

New England Law also offers a Masters of Law (LL.M.) in American Law for foreign lawyers with law degrees from institutions outside the United States who want to increase their knowledge of the American legal system.

The LL.M. program features a thorough orientation to American culture and legal education. The major themes of the U.S. legal system are addressed and candidates can choose to specialize in one of 11 areas of study.
