Library Carrel Reservation Policies

To Reserve a Carrel, email Karen Green,, after you have read the policies below.

Nine study carrels are reservable to current New England Law students for up to 30 daysDue to space constraints within the library, there is no carrel reservation allowed during the reading and exam period or during the summer.

Three carrels are located on each floor at these locations: in the basement at the end of the state section, on the first floor opposite study room 115 and on the second floor next to study room 218. Each reservable carrel has an identifying number in the carrel.

Reserving a carrel is for the purpose of providing a place to store library materials for on-going research projects. All library material stored in the carrel must be checked out to the carrel user at the Information Desk.  Any material not checked out will be reshelved. Return all library items to the circulation desk for check in when finished. No personal items should be left in any study carrel.

A student who has reserved a carrel has the right to use it at any time and may ask another student using it to move.

Your reservation will be confirmed by email.
